Because the Internet is an increasingly popular outlet for gay men to make social and sexual connections, Gay City Health Project partnered with Three Dollar Bill Cinema to create GAY CITY TV: YOUR LIFE, YOUR COMMUNITY, UNSCRIPTED, an innovative digital media and film project that uses the Internet and recorded interviews with local men. GAY CITY TV (GCTV) aims to take advantage of the energy of men interacting with one another on the Internet and turn it into action with the power to effect change.

This free program will show the first two short films made as part of this project. Chris Diani examines the subject of “gay community,” and James Holsworth (YoYo String Media) looks at addiction issues among queer men. These films were made with and inspired by the stories shared by GCTV participants.

The project will continually collect recorded stories and use them to create a new short film every few months. If you’d like to be a part of this exciting venture, email jeff@gaycity.org.
