Andrea is having a tough time with her life. She lives at home with her mom (who wants to move out and leave Andrea alone), her dad has died, and her estranged brother and his belongings have shown up on her doorstep. To complicate matters, she’s receiving calls from Mother Superior, the principal at her son Josh’s school. Not only does Josh find Maria von Trapp to be the most important Catholic, but he wants to join the cheerleading squad, too. Can Andrea somehow cope with all of these challenges and still hold on to her job and her sanity? Andrea must learn to accept and work with the many obstacles in her life. Whether it’s her stylish son, the gay neighbor, or even her less-than-responsible brother, she must embrace the people closest to her to make it through each day. James Vasquez directs this modern family’s struggle with identity.
