An out-and-proud college student, Olaf “Gunn” Gunnunderson (Keith Jordan) lives with his adorable boyfriend Nathan (Adamo Ruggiero, “Degrassi: The Next Generation”) at school, but he crawls back into the closet to survive the holidays with his quirky, Midwestern parents. In the dark about his sexuality, Gunn's parents decide to match him up with his old high school sweetheart, Abby. Meanwhile, Nathan’s cold parents win a trip to Israel but somehow “forget” to tell their son. When he hears that he’s supposed to spend the holidays alone, Nathan makes his way to Wisconsin to be with his sweetie, who decides he must put on a charade to keep the relationship a secret. With pressure mounting from all sides, will Gunn come out before the truth does? Boasting appearances by Alison Margaret Arngrim (Nellie Oleson from “Little House on the Prairie”) and Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher from ”Star Trek: The Next Generation”), MAKE THE YULETIDE GAY is sure to become a homo holiday classic.

I loved this film, but then again according to my partner this is my kind of film. I thought it was decently acted, funny and would want this DVD on my shelf.
